Caratwell
Our Story

Fine jewelry deserves
honest writing.

Caratwell was founded on a simple belief: most jewelry content online is either marketing disguised as editorial, or jargon that leaves buyers more confused than when they started.

What we stand for

We write for the person standing in front of a display case, phone in hand, trying to tell the difference between a VS1 and a VS2 — and why it matters for their budget.

Every article on Caratwell is written with one rule: would we buy this ourselves? If the answer is yes, we say so. If it is no, we say that too.

We are not a retailer. We do not sell jewelry. We earn through affiliate commissions when readers click our links — always disclosed, always honest.

Our Editorial Standards

We disclose everything

Every affiliate link is marked. Every sponsored mention is labelled. If we have a financial relationship with a brand, you will know before you read a word about them.

We rely on primary sources

GIA grading reports, industry white papers, gemological data. We do not repeat marketing copy — we verify claims independently.

We update our content

The jewelry market changes. Prices shift, brands evolve, new certifications emerge. We revisit articles regularly to keep them accurate.

We welcome corrections

If something we have written is wrong, we want to know. Contact us and we will investigate and correct within 48 hours.
